Agricultural innovations only matter if they work in the real world. That’s why Maxstim tested its flavonoid-based biostimulant, Agriculture+, across six commercial potato crops in the UK, on farms with different soil types and growing conditions
The results?
- 5.2% higher total yield across all locations
- Bigger, more valuable tubers – optimising marketable yield
- £700 per hectare extra revenue for farmers. Equivalent to $520/acre.
This wasn’t a one-off result—it was consistent across all six locations, proving that biostimulants can deliver tangible, repeatable benefits.
What made the difference
Flavonoids in Agriculture+ stimulated leaf assimilation area, improved nutrient uptake, and enhanced stress tolerance.
This led to:
- Stronger plants – Healthier foliage sustained photosynthesis for longer.
- More efficient nutrient use – Yield gains without additional fertiliser.
- Improved economic returns – Every hectare produced more, with the same inputs.
